cool idea with the cowl front. i love the comments, with how we don't need "extra baggage" and with how "we need to make sure she doesn't go places she's not supposed to go"

👌👌 i suggest you join the straps eith a diagonal cut btw, it disperses the amount of bulk that's in one spot, and especially with such skinny straps

I’m so humbled by your comment, thank you so much 🥺❤️ It’s an honor to have inspired something so wonderful - this is a major reason why I do these DIYs...to get people into sewing and show them it’s fun and it can save you money by not having to splurge on seasonal trends all the time. Thank you so much for showing me that I am getting my message out there, I’m humbled 💕

There's another vlogger Jess Dang I watch that made this same top out of old jeans, I made it last weekend and I love it. Now I'll be doing this one because I love the cowl neck affect that you did, thinking about using a pillowcase.

You’re a genius 🤔 If you use a pillowcase all you might need to do is add straps and you’re good to go depending on the fit you want 😁

You can measure - I already knew this would be big on me as the shirt was already a large so didn’t see the need to measure. If you do measure, maybe double the chest measurement, see how that looks and adjust accordingly. This will help create that ‘falling’ neck look
