Wow this is awesome. It's kinda funny too because you would never think that the "cool" kids would do this. Usually you'd think girls were the ones playing around with a sewing machine. But this is amazing teaching other peers to sew and like you said " make your mama proud " you did a great job, I definitely want to try this!! Thank you!!

AlbyLove23 You're welcome! When I tell people that I sew, they usually react with, "Oh that's so cool" or "Really? Wow, I wish I could do that". Usually I get positive feedback. I definitely want to make my mom proud. It's truly one of my most important goals in life.

looks good. Gives me an idea of what I want to do. I want to use the existing hood but line the inside of it for a contrast of color. I am not sure how to do that and have it lay flat. I may grab a hoodie and experiment until I get what I am looking for. Its also great to see a young guy sewing. :D

Yea but by adding four inches it a added a total of 8 extra inches (4 on each side of the fold) and only shrunk a total of 2 inches therefore leaving 6 inches extra. I had to do a series of cuts and restitches to make it fit and it still doesnt look all that right when wearimg the hood but looks fine when down

Just found you on youtube - awesome hoodie customizations! How easy do you think it would be to do a custom fabric on the inside of the hoodie...could you use the outside of the actual hood you took off of the jacket instead of cutting a wool piece, too?

lacrossucks I was probably tired or it was late. It takes 8hrs+ to record the tutorial. Then it takes 10hrs+ to edit and upload the video.
