Hi I like your patterns. I have bought Flechter Patterns since the beginning. I am upgrading my catalog of Gene Marshall slopers I did 30 years ago. Is there pattern drafting software you would recommend. I tried the Adobe and I am hoping for better.

I don't use pattern software. I design using CorelDraw.

Always helpful! What if you were making an A-line skirt? How do you determine the curve along the bottom edge?

I followed thee instructions for my doll and it did not work. I measured four times and cut once. It was too small. I don't know what could have gone wrong.

Try adding more ease by increasing the seam allowance you add to the pattern block and then sew together with a 1/4" seam allowance if your finding the fit to be too snug.

As a young girl my grandmother taught me the basics of sewing. I've been self-taught sewing doll clothes for 20 years now, many for my own enjoyment, but a lot for my daughter and her pop culture dolls as she's grown over the years. You've taught me so many different techniques I didn't know I was missing. Please continue to make content, your channel was the most amazing discovery. Thank you for taking the time to do these and making your wonderful patterns.

You make this look very easy, Tamara. You're certainly in your wheelhouse in the sewing world. I'm struggling with designing a semi-fitted, lined, slightly raised collar, 3/4 raglan sleeve shrug or short jacket for Ellowyne. It just occurred to me that using the graph paper would really help a lot. This is a big ask, but hope you might consider demonstrating drafting raglan sleeves and raised collars that would be amazing. My sleeves are too large around the shoulders and can''t seem to get the collar to frame the face correctly.
