I just finished this tutorial..it took from Friday to Sunday to glue all the circles..it was long and tedious. As I'm writing this the paint is drying on all the circles. I went on line and found the original art piece and made all the circles according to that. But used this tutorials technic. I found that spraying the circles first with (I used Rust O leum) High Gloss white paint & primer, then spraying the circles Bronze, Gold, Silver, & black (for the black I use Lacquer black), they were super brillant. While this isn't a unique process, for this hack it works and looks great. Thanks girls, my circles are going to look lovely on the wall. Oh, one more thing...I'm using "Command Flat double sided tape" so as to not pull the paint off my walls when I decide to change out art pieces.

Honey, I couldn't hear a word you said!! I don't think the music was all that loud, I just think you might have been a little too far away from the microphone. But, I love this project! I am all about abstract looking decor because I hate cookie cutter patterns that everyone else already has. I think I'm going to also try a much smaller version of this project with different shapes, as well (square, diamond, etc), for different rooms of the house just to add a little something different. The different sizes and colors of the circles is what makes this so beautiful and unique. There's really no way you can mess this up, ya know? And it's definitely a one of a kind piece. I can't wait to show it off, and tell all the girls I made it myself! Oh, and I came across this video while looking for DIY wall decor, and instantly clicked on it. I knew right away I needed to subscribe to your channel! Thank you! ❤ 💛 💜 💙

Lisa Lisa well I have to say...since she is speaking and it is hard to hear her over the music, I don’t see it as so much a complaint, more of making her aware of it so the next video will be even better. I think the purpose of her speaking during the video was to be heard, otherwise why even speak? 🤷🏾♀️

Just a super quick tip for anyone looking to do this, the dollar store actually sells woven circle placemats that are perfect for this diy. So much less work and they come in tons of colours so there may not even be a need to spray paint, I picked up different neutral tones I spent maybe 10$ at most on recreating

I think this is an awesome idea and you are very creative. But the foam mounting tape is going to be a real pain to remove and will mess up your walls. Also how are you going to take them down to dust them? Command velcro would be so much better.
@genevalee552
5 жыл бұрын
Bonnie, I Wholeheartedly Agree, She is very Creative & Delightfully So! I Really enjoyed her Video & the Beautiful Results! The "Foam Mounting Tabs", shouldn't be that much of a problem to remove, they may come off cleanly, causing very minimal, to possibly no damage at all to her Walls. I've used them & removed them often enough to know that, sometimes, they come right off smoothly, if you take your time, & carefully & slowly peeling them off. If some of them should happen to leave a bit of "Sticky, Foamy Residue" behind, it only takes a little extra-effort of gently scraping the area w/a dull-edged "Butter Knife", or "Plastic Knife" to remove it. Then, just very lightly, "Sand" those areas w/"Super-Fine Grit Sandpaper", or, she could even use an "Emory Board"! That should work very well, then the last thing to do, is gently apply some "Spackle", just dab it on any spots that she may have previously had to Sand & smooth them over. The "Dollar Tree" even sells it. FYI, as for when it comes to needing to "Dust" her "Art Work", she doesn't need to "Remove" it! She can gently dust over the surface & the sides & edges, w/one of those, "Multi-Colored", very "Fluffy, Light Weight" Dusters, w/the long Wooden or Plastic handles! For getting underneath, use a hand-held "Blow-Dryer", set to the "Cool, Gentle", Setting. Keep Up The Great Work, Dear! GOD Bless!
