Love these dragon eyes. Have you thought of making one for an albino dragon in whites and pearls with a pinkish/reddish pupil? Heavily layered I bet would be gorgeous. Every eye doesn't have to be perfect .....you are doing a great job. Reading about dragons they even had flaws like in their eyes like us humans, so quite fussing silly. You have taught me to believe in what you have and Don't take it for granted, I didn't before but I live in 230 square feet apartment now and I appreciate having my own stuff here. And I am housebound because of the pneumonia still until I see my asthma doctor. Don't worry about giving back, you have to do what is right with you and your money, people should be glad that an artist wants to talk with them, some or most would not even take the time. I think you are doing great with the craft stuff and even your weight.

I've bought color shift polish before, but I don't think I've used it yet. I enjoy your crafts, it's always calming. Side note- Walgreens ain't exactly cheap lol. Spent $130 on 6 - 7 polish options, and some weird looks. I seem to stick with blues, greens, purples, and reds. I like doing this project a lot. I've made about 12 so far. OH! I saw people making pendants like this using crayon shavings and baking them. I imagine a heat gun would work as well.

Hey Von, now I don't know if it would work for sure but when gluing up wood (sandwiching to make a bigger piece) if you lay on a few shakes of regular table salt it bites in and keeps everything from sliding. I don't know that it would work to keep your projects from sliding mod podge being different then wood glue and all, but I also don't see a reason it wouldn't work if you wanted to try it out. Probably I'd set down a layer of the mod podge on a piece of plastic or your baking sheet and see out the salt interacts with the mod podge before potentially ruining a project that you've worked hard on. But if it works then that makes it much easier for you to control a project. Your eye is gorgeous, by the way. I like the flaw in it. Gives it character.

I use only acrylics paints when painting mine since most of mine will be used set into polymer clay and the chemicals in nail polish eventually react with polymer clay and turn it to goo. Folkart has some great metallic, glitter, and colourshift paints that make for some cool results!
