Do the best you can with what you got! Hell yah. I use black tape to keep hooks “hooked”. No better way to spend a day than doing it with your kids! Even better when you can watch them do it! Lol

It does look much better, great idea for making that. Better watch out for Timber, it's liking that hole 😅.

The absolute best thing to level a driveway (besides a motorgrader) is a piece of railroad rail ! Get 4 to 6 feet and weld some D-rings to the top of the rail (ware the train rides) and pull it with your wheeler ! Plenty of weight to work with 1-2 passes….

That does look better. If you just put down gravel on top of the dried mud.. youll be repeating the process next spring. Columbia heights (C Falls) has the same clay/mud. Put down 3 inches of wood chips down 1st then the rock/gravel. The rock/gravel will then stay on top and not disappear into the mud. Its cheap and easy... Ask me how I know. Thanks for the video...

Some ditching to get water away from the roadway will help a ton, as water is just staying in the road.. i.e. makes mud. Clever drag, and is what we used back in the days of the 50's. Thanks for taking us along.

Good Morning. Slow getting here, but here I am. My Dad built a drag similar to yours when we lived in Nevada. Us kids sat on it for weight as he pulled it by hand with a rope....he was tough!

Looking good, how about welding some cut nails to the back of the drag? Maybe let them hang down 3/4 inch to help loosen the hard pack. Just a thought.
