Simply gorgeous 😍!!! Suggest....gluing wood shapes to paper and then cutting and sanding.....much easier then fussy cutting out the shapes first.

Have you tried using a light string instead of twine to create the original length? You could tie the rags on the light string.
@CrepeMyrtleRow

I haven’t and the reason why is a friend made one like that and after a couple of years the lights stopped working. I know the LED lights are better now and typically last longer than incandescent ones but this project takes a lot of time to complete and I personally just don’t want to risk using the light string. The lights I’m using are on the wire so they are easy to conceal and replace. I hope this helps!

I reallly wanted to learn how to do the fabric part bc that’s the main part and she didn’t film that section! 😢
@CrepeMyrtleRow

So sorry for that! You just simply tie a single knot around the string. Alternating between the different fabric strips until you reach the end of the string. I have a couple other videos on diy rag garlands that I show me tying the fabric,or ribbons in some cases, on. Hopefully this helps!
