This is my version of a featherboard. I used PVC board that I bought from Lowes. This stuff has a nice elastic feel when cut into feather boards. I think it will hold up for a long time. The fingers are cut to about the same thickness as a full kerf table saw blade. Maybe just a bit thicker. 3/16" at most. The gap or spacing is well 1/8". Size and length very and I'm not sure I will ever find a perfect size.... which is why I decided to make my own. This way I can easily make them as needed in the future.
