jellybeansushi At my sister’s elementary school fall carnival that I helped out at in Jr High (about 2-3 years ago) they had a game where you dropped a magnet on a string behind a board and volunteers would attach a little symbol to the magnet pertaining to a little prize. Most were stuff like candy or those cheap little trinkets, but one of them meant you won a live betta fish. And they were giving these things to really little kids who would run around shaking the bag everywhere. I wonder how many died before they even got home... :(

Fun fact: Real life goldfish shoudlnt live in bowl. They produce a lot of waste and need high amounts of filtration. Common/single tail are ment for ponds and should get 12+ inches long and need 100 gallons per fish. Fancy goldfish were bred to be more compact for a tank and do best in pairs with 40 gallons for the first pair and 10-15 for each additional fish. Fancies range between 5 inches to 12 but usually they have large clunky bodies and need the extra room to maneuver. Betta also should be kept in bowls either. They shouldnt be in anything less than a 5 gallon. They also need a heater and gentle filter. Always do in depth research 😊 Edit: June 3rd, 2020 Didnt get notification for most of these replies! Thank you everyone that was so supportive of this. I'm glad so many found it helpful. For those of you that either disbelieve or disagree. I cant change your mind and the experience is different for everyone. I had a fish that died after I tried to upgrade him. Sometimes it happens. Usually due to shock, also they are living animals and will react differently as individuals do.

I had about 4 goldfish when I was real little!! and for the last 2.5 years I've been taking the marine biology elective at my school, and, like a lot of our subjects, marine bio is really hands on! we had ~8 goldfish a group (I've been doing it since it started up) but now we have a bunch of cool ones and Brian (my awesome teacher) is working on helping me set up the right environment for a mud crab!! (not a fish, I know, but still really cool) our subject is amazing tho because we get to do a bunch of cool things, like -keep a common carp (not sure about the US, but here in aus they're a super invasive species and hella illegal to keep unless you have a license, which we do!) her name is Krystal (with a K) and she loves swimming alongside us as we walk past and chasing the dot from the temperature gun -have a murray cod (super cool native fish that can grow to be huge but unfortunately shares a lot of environment with the carp and is losing food & homes to them) and *his name is Donald because he destroys anything invading his territory and has tiny fins* -go on awesome excursions and camps including turtle camp!! and turtle camp is when we go up to the murray river and work with turtles australia to record turtle nests and dig up hatched babies and release them into the wild (because they really need the helping hand to escape predators and not go extinct) and this year we uncovered two (2!!) nests of turtles and I got to release one with my hands and hold him and I called him Keef (after keith kogane bc i'm trash) and my heart!! explosions!!!! ... wow sorry I rambled a lot more than I meant to you just asked about fish and I got cARRIED AWAY I just really like fish ok sh

@Nasophie Channel maybe the fish tank wasn't fully prepared or the fish wasn't really used to your tank water, yet ;) in my experience, big pet shops throw a lot of chemicals and antibiotics into their water so the fish look better and don't look sick. I had 5 guppies from said store and they all died within a month. So my advice is to get them from a breeder, a neon from my first swarm is still living after 6 years :D also check that the water hardness and temperature is right for the fish and whether it should be in a swarm or not

Nicky Yates she would of had to build the soap upside down then and it would make the soap dough and fish off center and crooked in the end and maybe get cut off for some soaps. I’m not saying the rounded bottom isn’t a cool idea, I’m just saying it’s really hard to do in general

It looks so good my 3 year old was amazed with how the fish was swimming in the water. (We watch one of your videos every night)

Stumbled upon this channel in the rough winter months for me. These are super positive and a nice way to wind down. You really remind me of bobbydukearts but like. For soaps. If you two had to do a project together it would probably be mayhem lol.

Is really really hard to get that fish to stay up and down and look like is swimming instead of floating like... *DEAD*

I love your "fish in a bag" soap. I am using your idea for our gifts bags we give out at our church, to visitors, since our name has, ". . .the fisherman" in its title. I also give them out to the homeless in our area. You not only are a hoot to watch but inspiring with your creativity. Your videos have firmly set me on the way to be a soap maker.
