Yes please do give it a try. I place my crayons in the freezer for a while first then use a fine grater, that way you get very fine shavings that look like very realistic flowers. There is a tremendous range of colours with wax crayons so you could create quite a colourful flower bed or something! I love watching your videos so please keep them coming! Howard

Thanks mate, good luck with the build. The only advice I can give is try using the same negative ion generator that I use in the video, I've had a few try using the cheap ones from China and they seem to have trouble getting them to work well. Plus they have extra wires? Oatley Electronics sell the one I used and it's not overly expensive. Cheers Luke

Thanks for another good, how to video. As to wanting different colored foam, anyone tried using water based dye? Like the 4 colored set sold during Easter to dye eggs with? You'll have to add water to thin the dye, put your foam in/mix it, then let the foam either dry naturally or use a hair dryer. Haven't tried this trick, but haven't made my static grass applicator either.

Abhishek Soni another way would be by getting a paintbrush and grab some green paint and put small amounts on the flower. However if your talking about putting leafs on the stems then idk of a fast and easy way to do it in large quantities

- FallNFly - hey mate, I guess if I was going to make a signal box like that I'd probably start with a small block of wood as a base then use styrene to cover the block, of course you don't need the wooden block but I'm thinking it would make it easier to get it nice and square. You could also try molding one using modelling clay? That way you could scribe in all the small details with a knife.
