The refresh rate is SW not a HW issue, 16MHz is plenty fast for a high frame rate, when you update only parts of the screen (and I bet even updating whole screen can be optimized further in this case).

This is a servo driver. Often times you can buy 10 servos that have 10 different capabilities. When i heard "servo evaluator" i was hoping it was something that you could evaluate the range and performance of the servo. You could setup an encoder that told you the difference of what you command and what the servo did. It could then give you a map for each servo you test. An example being a mechanism that requires only 20 degrees of motion. You hook up the servo and run the evaluator test and it tells you "servo X with 20 degrees of range should use values -9 and +11." You could then hook up another servo and that one might tell you its -15 and +12 to get 20 degrees out.
