Thank you! Especially for the real introductory basics on how the clippers work and how to work in steps! I've watched a few videos by barbers trying to help the stuck-at-home folks, and I appreciate their contributions too, but you filled in a lot of the basics the others missed. The "teacup motion" explanation is perfect! Thanks also to your son for participating in the video. Stay safe and all the best to you and your family.

That's how we've been doing it for our dad, since March this year. We've been doing it ever since. He doesn't even want to go to his barber anymore. We've been in lockdown since November again, here in Belgium. Going down with the clippers (numbers) seemed the common sense thing to do. I have only just now discovered this video and it is awesome; thank you. Dad needs a scissor cut up top, so the finger setting videos have been really helpful for us. We do 3 fingers up top and 1 finger on the sides (the finger setting thing to measure how much you leave on / take off is a little secret no one tells you about). Dad wears it in a side part and has super fine gray hair. Dad is 74 but doesn't have a receding hair line, otherwise I don't think it would be so easy to do, for us.

Hello Sir, greetings from the U.K. Let me begin, by thanking you for this great down to earth, average Joe video with no fancy bits included or smart arse jokes. I have seen and watched so many vids on quarantine cuts, but I followed yours and watched it over and over, before doing my partners hair. First things first, this ain't easy, but I did the job, and it looks half decent, due to this vid. I did however take a bit more than needed of the nape(it will grow back). A massive thanks and appreciation to you and your son. And Stay Safe.

Great video. I appreciate you taking the time to provide this lesson to all of us hairy gents. I've heard you barbers can make some good money giving lessons online in real time as people cut each others hair. I hope you can try that out to help you get through the quarantine. Stay safe and good luck!
