Update: I should have made a longer flap (3”) on box #2. Box prices keep increasing! It’s time to start making our own, especially our favorite sizes! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing, Vickie & Mark ~ Avante Avenue Here is the link for a similar 24" ruler: amzn.to/3PgfDTk

Thank you so much for this amazing video!! I probably will watch this video over and over until it sticks in my head. I will be bringing home more cardboard from Aldi and Sam's Club.

Thank you! I also pick up cardboard and some boxes here and there. If it's a shipping box though, it must be rated on the bottom no less than 32 ECT (edge crush test). Be careful not to use lightweight "inner" shipping boxes at actual shipping boxes. They are often found in stores. I also avoid any boxes that could have contained foods that are known allergies or chemicals. Thanks!

I ordered my first set of boxes from that company....horrible. Holes in all 8 corners when assembled.
@AvanteAvenue

I can't recall which company that I must have mentioned in this video but did you contact them? I have found that very few boxes are perfectly assembled. I've come to the conclusion that they sell their "seconds" on-line (ebay, Amazon, etc) and keep the best ones for their own websites. But, I've never had "holes" before. Sorry to hear that. I do hope you reached out to the company. Thanks, Brandi.

Thanks Vickie for the box tutorial. I think it's a great idea if you're in a bind or have an item that needs a custom size box. For me, it would be too time consuming and hard on my hands and wrists (have trouble similar to Mark). I'd rather spend the time photographing and listing. But excellent for many of your viewers I'm sure! Appreciate you!

Approximately 6 x 9 padded envelope. I like it large enough to be able to put one air pillow to the side of the jewelry and large enough to accept a shipping label. No particular brand although I might have a link I can’t recall. To qualify for USPS tracking, the package has to be at least 3/4 inch thick. Hope that helps and thank you.

Not sure which box you are referring to, but if you’re referring to the little square box. Every box has to have a glued flap. I actually made the flap tab too small.
