Seriously people ... stop with the negative comments. By now, most of the world is well aware of how the virus is spread. And many of us respect others by wearing a mask. So ANY mask is better than no mask and most of us who have chosen to make own own, know well enough to wash our masks, just like we do our underwear. I'm sorry for the sarcasm but when someone takes the time to create a tutorial for others and shares it, the least we can do is respect them and if you have nothing positive to say, then keep your comments to yourself. As for this tutorial and idea ... it's terrific ... thanks for sharing it.

@@theresalwaysroom4 ... and that's one of the reasons our world is in the mess that it is. Gone are the days of supporting our fellow man. It's all about "ME" and "MY OPINION" and "MY RIGHTS" and "MY CHOICES". And then giving people like you come along and share (for free) something that they could make money from and are then subjected to negativity for no reason other than that the person choses to have a very ugly soul. I thought it was a great tutorial. I’ve made a couple of hundred masks, and realize the importance of having a washable mask. But if somebody wants to wear this, I’m sure they’re smart enough to Wear it, take it off and wash it. I’m 70 and when I get home from going anywhere these days, I wash whatever I wore, including scarves. I actually thought it was a very innovative idea and quite lovely of her to share it. For those who don’t like it, don’t make it. Those of us who like it will make, it wear it and wash it. There’s a plethora of good cotton washable fabrics out there, that you could make something like this out of. And since I don’t go out daily at this point of my life it’s not a big deal to wear it and go home and wash it. Great job, young lady!

If not out long or just wearing to answer my door etc. I just iron my mask and why 100% cotton tight knit better. If mask lined like hers its good! Covid dies between 40 degrees and up to 149 degrees. Dryers go to about 120 but irons are 400 degrees. I iron my paper money too. And lysol everything coming into house.

@theresalwaysroom4
3 жыл бұрын
hello! thank you for the kind words! i wanted to make these for my nephews, but was concerned about a potential choking hazard- so decided against it! however, if the child is old enough to know how to wear the scarf properly, it should be okay! the measurements truly depend on the age of the child, and the size of their head. i would maybe cut off 8 inches maximum from the total length (so 1 yard = 36 inches minus 8 inches would equal 28 inches long) ideally, if you're able- and if you've already made an adult scarf, i would have the child try the adult one on and make measurements based off of how the adult one fits. hope that helps!

the template really does help! my friend makes the templates- the actual listing is no longer on etsy, but if you go to her shop and click on "contact shop owner" (on the left hand side), you might be able to order them directly! www.etsy.com/shop/BrightDayDesignsCo

С волосами красиво эти масочки смотрятся, а у меня хвостик и ушки открыты. Наверное некрасиво будет. Но идея прикольная🙉😂👍
