I'm Ghanaian but have been around Jamaicans all my life so I've picked up on how this dish & many other Jamaican dishes are prepared. I have to be honest and say that if this was your first attempt then you did okay but you needed to keep the Oxtail on the fire for at least 2.5 to 3 hours better still just use a pressure cooker & it would be done in an hour and a half if that? Your rice looked kinda off too bro, too clumpy and stuck together & needed more seasoning. I am impressed you used the browning sauce to season your Oxtail & the addition of the butter beans too which is authentic. Good attempt but you need to get a Jamaican to show you how its done bro, just saying.

Good try..but rice too white and look soft too much salt ...second the seasons for the oxtail was not too bad just didn't need paprika could have add onion powder to give it more flavor ...plus that meat look tough if not using a pressure cook it needs about 2 to 3 hours of stewing and u get perfect oxtail fall off the bone the gravy will be think without adding any corn starch🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Bongo needs to try to make a “Baked Alaska” or “Consommé”. They are both very difficult to make. Especially the baked Alaska cuz you need to bake the merginue in a very hot oven & make sure that it’s baked long enough for the merginue to get firm but the ice cream inside not to melt.!!
