I think you have absolutely great ideas. I love watching you making small things for your shop. I will be making some of your ideas for my garage shop. I was stationed at Kadena AB, for 5 years. I absolutely loved it there. I would return tomorrow if I were asked to go back. I was really good friends with a Kokhci Kochi. I learned a ton of history from him. I learned that he was a decedent of a Samori in Okinawa.

@@TachiOhyo56 Dear Friend, Thank you very much for your invitation to "meet again" It is most kind of you. Also the link to the Amazon shop. Very helpfull indeed. The only drawback would be that to me, it seems to be very difficult to regrind these drills to the original shape. I didn't notice that the drill seemed to be dull. It must be middle of the night at your place now. I hope not to have disturbed you in your sleep. I am writing this at 18:00 central European time. I think it will be 8 hours time difference so I will wait sending this answer until it is a decent time to disturb someone. Thanks again for your information. I watched this by mistake and adjusted the screen size for better view so I did not know what you were making, but it looked interesting. What is he making? Let's see ... Why all those holes around a circle centred around a central hole? A disc with holes around the edge?? Ahhh ... cogs on a gear wheel ... But all the same size discs??? Can't be. Now she's rounding them, so it's got to be knobbly tyres for a child's toy ... Yes, that's it to be it, but he's got the axle fitting all wrong! What IS he making? Knobs! Obvious.. isn't it? You know - those cheap plastic things that ... don't look anywhere as pretty as these beautiful objects of last as long (that's why you choose a really hard hardwood) or you'd choose to 're-use when the thing you've made them for has served its purpose. I am glad I watched it. And that I missed the title - I wouldn't have picked a View to watch about (yawn) boring knobs. Any it was much more interesting than any TV detective story!Thank you.

Hello What a wonderful comment! Reasoning, fancy thinking while watching videos is also a new perspective. The fun doubles. I enjoy woodworking every week at this place. We will continue to make videos that everyone can enjoy. Thank you See you

Greetings from the UK My apologies for the political You Tube name but hopefully when we finally escape the clutches of the EU we will be in a better place. I enjoyed watching your video and your approach to making knobs for jigs, the background music was beautiful and at just the right level, thank you for posting and you just gained another subscriber. What is the name of the variety of timber you used please, I compliment you on your good manners and the fact you take the time out to reply even to the negative trolls.

Start by thanking you as usual. Hello, Thank you for watching my video You looked at my policy from a sharp point of view. I can't hide joy! A critical comment makes my heart sad, but it is also destined. I just want to enjoy KZitem ... I am an old man who likes amateurs and woodworking. Complex and precise work is not possible with my skills, I hope many people enjoy my 10-minute process video, like you ... I'm an amateur so I'm not familiar with wood, this tree got a waste from a neighbor that was supposed to be used for a bonfire. I asked him, it was a very hard and classy "Apiton" he answered! This tree grows in the Philippines and Indonesia. Different kinds of trees may be mixed! I appreciate your kind comments. Thank you See you again

@@TachiOhyo56 Thank you for your prompt reply, I noticed there is upwards of 15 video clips on you tube showing how to make various types of knobs and your one "Make a knob with a hard tree " currently has the second highest number of views on 134k. I don't understand the negativity of some people, not everyone has access to the same tools and the simpler you keep the process the easier they are to make.

@@Rikard_NilssonOf course, I did get to that point at school. But other people put links in the videos to download the templates in PDF, some free and others paid. A template makes the job much easier.-

From the video with the images I have already taken a template. Now I just have to glue it on the wood and cut. Sorry for my English but I am using the Google translator. Greetings Fran.-

I hope that you have still got all of your fingers after using the hole cutter without clamping down the work.
