DIY Macrame Plant Hanger | Easy Way to Make Hanging Pot Rope # 2
The tutorial that will be discussed in this video is about how to make a Macrame Plant Hanger / Macrame Hanging Pot Rope.
I made this video to answer the request of viewers who asked for a simple, easy and suitable Macrame Plant Hanger tutorial for pots measuring 20 cm.
To make this Macrame Plant Hanger you need:
1. 8 strands of 4mm / 5mm cotton rope measuring 3.5 m long
2. 2 strands of 60 cm cotton rope (used for making ghatering knots)
3. iron ring measuring 3 cm
4. scissors
At the beginning of the work, I folded the straps that were not the same length. I folded it with one side 1 m long, and the other side 2.5 m. That's because the knot used to make a talipot pole is only 2 knots: square knot and spiral knot. If we only use these two knots, the only moving rope is left and right, while the middle rope does not. So logically, only the left and right ropes will decrease in length when working. This is TIPS so we can save rope.
Thank you for watching.
Hopefully the tutorial is easy to understand.
