Not going to lie, I absolutely LOVE that you did the phone doodle. Not everyone who wants to redesign their home is tech savvy or even has access to things like CADs or Photoshop or anything. There are more than enough maker videos out here with people who say "just pop into fusion 360 and you'll be done in a jiffy" and the like. Not everyone is like this. It's great to see you promote the accessible design process! Keep up the great work!

Really big fan of the phone/markup method, my slow method was to use a laser level and blue painters tape first before committing to a design .

@@diyhuntress last time I moved I bought 3 cheap £1 tape measures from B&Q on the assumption I’d misplace them while working, if I had multiple I should always be able to find one… that didn’t always pan out. Also despite having an iPhone since the first one and make mobile games for almost a decade I had no idea about the ruler in markup. I use that all the time but I’ve never tried it. Mind blown.

QUESTION: When nailing into the wall, I saw someone say to nail at an angle, to not go in at like a 90-degree angle (I hope I'm explaining that okay). I want to do an accent wall, but don't want to use Liquid Nails or anything like that in case I want to remove later. THANKS IN ADVANCE and I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS (AND DANI!!!)

I think the best tip is just using the right size nail! It’s why I always talk about what size Brad nail I use in my materials and in my posts. I have done two of these walls and another board and batten wall and did not use a liquid nails on any of them, and all of the walls turned out great!

Why am i NOT surprised that you went for white?the correct title for this video would've been ''Danie Berger helps me choose the shade of white for my geometric 'accent' wall (air quotes have a point there)first of all I LOVED the initial color on the wall.Second if I had a super power I could choose I would definitely go with the power to completly ban and make the colors white and black dissapear from paint options especialy for BIG surfaces.I hate white and black I love color!
