nice but I think we would struggle with a heavier bike to get on the centre stand from that height. thanks for sharing.

Cool. I wonder if I can make one from an old ladder I have, then it could store outside. So pleased to have found this, thanks for posting!

Hello, I like your lift, thank you for sharing it with us. I liked your homemade socket too. I think I would use a hook on the drill, so it wouldn't slip out. Nice work.

Don’t listen to negative comments, easy simple and cheap, can be adapted to suit individual requirements, perfect, good man…..

I have used just scissor jack under the stand and swing desired end up for working. Scooter stand can "walk" on the lift by hand. Stand must be locked its position.

Thanks! Trying to keep it simple. Have you built a waste oil heater yet?

I could use one of these for my less than 200lbs scooter.

Be better to just make a higher table and use a ramp

Thanks! I've made a few that are all different from one another and yours. Yours is close to what I want to shoot for this time around, a table lift...though 3 of the 4 I've built are very useful and won't be retired anytime soon, they lack certain qualities yours has...

thanks. i am thinking of making a similar thing. however i live on the fifth floor of an apartment block. i need mine to be even more 'foldable' and portable. also, although i too will use a scissor-jack, i will just wind it by hand. i reckon i need to use light-weight metal L-sections... you know the ones with the pre-drilled holes every couple of inches. that way no welding or cutting except when i get the L-sections to begin with. anyone got a plan for something like that?

The issue isn’t about getting the bike higher on a bench, it’s about lifting it up so as to get clearance between the ground and the underside. And there’s no way you can push a 650 lbs motorcycle up a ramp. The video should be retired “For Tiny Scooters Only”.
