Just a tip I also saw Loveths video... If you can't get hard straws you could still use the soft straws by inserting two broom sticks into it...I tried it and it worked just fine

i also saw lovely speaks video and couldnt find the hard straws. i used sticks too like you did but i still used the bobby pins and was pretty successful but next time i am going to try rubber bands like you did because i was a tiny bit of a struggle to get the bobby pins to stay on.

So I’m just seeing this and this is awesome and I must try the technique but I was wondering how come you twisted the hair only halfway and turned it if it was already folded in half?

The twist won’t come out the same, I right twist also, but it doesn’t look beautiful on passion twist, so I had to do it the other way.
