Sorry for the delay. But I'm afraid its that time of year. The rain is here and the sun doesn't like to come out that often. Luckily I have enough batteries for my Ryobi tools to keep them going. And hopefully I get a few days of sun, so I can get them all back to full charge. Other then my table saw, everything else I am using for this project has been battery powered(HINT HINT RYOBI). A few small solar panels have been keeping my battery charged to keep up with all my small jobs.
So this was a learning curve for me. The chisel was used too quickly and I should have used the router for the first 3 passes. Then cut the rest. Basically this is a groove for the frame to sit on. And it works great. Just doesn't look as clean as I would like it too.
The good news for me is that my next step is picking out the tent material. Its between Vinyl, Canvas. And the decision at this moment is honestly based on what will be available. But if you guys actually read these things and would love to share your two cents I am all ears. And even if there is another material I am not thinking about I am willing to give it a shot.
So I started a website to keep track of all the stuff I'm using to build this camper. I keep some pricing, along with a quick thought on the product. I will update it as I use the products. If there is something you wants to see, just send me an email from the site and I will be glad to add it. And hopefully next year I can get my shop and start a few other projects such as Camper 2.0. Thanks again for watching. Site link is below.
