FINALLY someone uploads a good timelapse from start to finish building one of the Mattone Barile ovens. Thank you! I'll be doing this in the Spring and this video will be really helpful. Great job!

This model “tunnel” oven needs to be a little longer and most builders fail because they build them too short.

What did you use on the outside gray bricks? Not the yellow fire bricks but the ones on the outside surrounding the fire bricks. Did you use regular mortar or some sort of furnace cement? Please let me know. Thanks in advance

They are patio bricks and we used high temp mortar for everything inside/on the oven itself.

Нет перевязки кирпичей по своду. А так нормально. Я думаю печ работает.

I think my Gozney Roccbox has about the same actual usable cooking surface and is a lot easier to use than this. Just seems like a very inefficient oven.

@@NickMJDD I LOVE making pizza at home and hardly ever buy pizza anymore. I can see building one of these and I do have the space for it. I see it adding value to the house when time comes to sell it. But for now, the Gozney gets the job done. Curious how much wood you go through if you had a pizza party for about 10 people?

@@bohs1984 maybe around a quarter of the storage below. Usually have to refill it once per season.
