Yup, I took one of my gongs and turned it into plate reverb... Making a DIY plate reverb is actually pretty simple, you obviously don't need a gong, but hey, if you have one, why not use it! You could easily use a ride cymbal or anything else that is resonant, maybe even a drum? Either way, I think this thing sounds pretty slick!
