Thx for the vid but it would have been nice for you to demonstrate in real time how they work in a live fire demo.

Try this. Drop a 1 pound and a 5 pound rock from chest height at the same time. You will see that both hit the ground at the same time. That's how gravity works. But, in the turner case, it is the inertia to get the thing started moving that is affected by more weight. When the heavier one gets moving it moves the same speed as the lighter one. It just takes the heavier a litter longer to get started moving.

Yes, a heavier turner will slow it down. But it's weight further from the center of the cross that has the greatest impact. Think of it like torque and leverage. A light weight further out on the ends can have the same affect as a heavier weight closer to the middle. If all the weight is in the dead center (like say in the post) then the affect of weight will be minimal.

I like it, great target. But I have a question, altering the weight of turner, affects speed?

Ok, how the heck did he cut such nice lines in the PVC? I can get the lines at a 45 degree angle easy with a cutting wheel because they are ling enough, but how did he cut the short 1/2 sections that are vertical? I tried a cutting bit and can't control the bit enough to get a smooth cut... I end up going out material all over the place.
