We made these today and they were gross. The texture was not gummy at all. It was jelly, sandy mush that tasted vile. What could have gone wrong? Has anybody tried to make these? I really was looking forward to veg gummies :(

I heard it’s not a good idea to use agar agar for gummies :/

When agar agar is replaced 1:1 ratio as gelatin, it makes sandy gummies. You need to use less than 3 tbsp. Anyway, the texture is not gonna be like gummies made using gelatin. How do I know? I just did a little experiment and failed.

The gummies have to be refrigerated to keep fresh?
@keneticdiy3746

Yeah, that would be best...Yhere are no preservatives, so if you don't eat them in a day or two I would store them in the fridge.
