Lazy Susans are pretty common to come across, and even IKEA has its own version - the Snudda. However, motorized turntables are much rarer to encounter.
So naturally, I decided to build a system that could turn an ordinary wooden Lazy Susan into a motorized piece of equipment, that could be used to make nice B roll for videos and help out with 3D scanning small objects.
Supplies:
Lazy susan: amzn.to/429UQpU
12V 200RPM DC motor: amzn.to/493gaQ5
DC PWM speed controller module: amzn.to/3u4vE7K
M4 nuts and bolts: amzn.to/3vCvJje
Wire: amzn.to/3SpRvzO
Soldering iron: amzn.to/47FHB1b
Matte white 3D filament: amzn.to/47JhWVx
Matte black 3D filament: amzn.to/3S5YcWs
This is still a 'work in progress', but here's some stuff to help you get started making your own turntable display: www.thingiverse.com/thing:539...
