Congratulations on the very useful tutorial. I ask you for advice: with a ZED-F9p in rover configuration, detecting more points I get a very quick fix but I see the points detected on the Google map of SW Maps, about one meter away from the real position. What am I doing wrong? A greeting Aldo Guarasci

Can you tell us where we can buy all components in johannesburg to build the rtk base station?

Hi @SkyDrone team, thanks for the comment. For a simple base station configuration you can start off with obtaining the RTK GPS module; MicroRobotics that is based in Centurion is selling the SparkFun F9P module that we used (they are a reseller of the SparkFun components). If you have a spare computer with you can use that, or buy a mini PC such as the LattePanda we used (have a look at Communica, they should have stock). For the GPS antenna we used RFDesign based in Midrand to supply those (specific antenna version is detailed in the article, link in the video description). The other components are more bells and whistles so not really a requirement (e.g. the transparent enclosure to house the LattePanda computer and RTK GPS reciever and LED lights). Let me know if that gets you started! :)

@@skydronemaputo233 Jip, they only have a few options on their website. Most of the antennas are made to order, hence feel free to send them an e-mail, they are very helpful with their assistance. For our application we ordered the antenna with a 5 m length of cable to allow enough space to install then hardware in the Data House facility. Can ask the RFDesign team to recommend options for your application, e.g. that it has to be waterproof. Antennas are working very well to date with no weather or rain related issues.
