I tend to fade from the top and work down like you until about guard 2. I then switch it back to the bald guideline (1st guideline) and work my way up. I use 1-4 guards either open or closed and I use the 0.5 and 1.5 guard halfway to help blend the open blade to the 1 closed and 1 open to the 2 closed, respectively. I generally will use them as my detail guards of the fade after I’m all done. Like your tutorials and video editing mate! Can’t wait for the next one. Crispy cut!

Thanks alot bro that means alot :) Yeah once you get your technique down and the order that you like to use your guards it becomes a lot easier doesn't it. Alot more planned and controlled rather than my first ones where I was just using whichever guard I felt like!

I’ve been doing my own fades but i always need someone to do “touch ups” and especially fix the back... but your fade is fresh! I’m going to attempt one tonight. Wish me luck hahaha

Just a little tip that could help.... Ive stuck a strip of led lights around my 3 way to give me a much clearer view of what Im doing. Its helped me greatly and they were only 6 quid on ebay which was fairly cheap.

@@LIFTEDTV. I'm actually your new sub from the Philippines 😊 and I'm planning to practice how to properly cut my hair. I want to see faded or tapers haircuts and how to use properly a clippers for beginners or the basic information that the beginner needs to know first before they start selfcut and also techniques. Thank you! 😀 Ps. I almost forgot... a tutorial on how to cut hair on top. 😊

Reformed Dj yamz how far is it pushed pack of its a lot then it would be best to let it regrow and maybe buzz your hair so that it can all grow back at the same time, if it’s only baby hairs get it lined up!
