Great video, even though the translator for subtitles doesn't do a proper job, talking about tickling machines or the stuff about killer whales. I found myself laughing at the translator when it translated the hammer sounds as "ah ah ah ah" and "yeah yeah yeah", the saw sounds as "Sue Sue Sue" or "Will will will" or "Goo boo at". Etc etc. I wish I could have a translator that properly translated what you were saying. Arigato.
Amazing details, the joinery has to be super strong and it looks amazing. I want his marker, too! Is it racist to think highly of Japanese culture, in general? I knew a Japanese kid, from school, when I was about 10, his name was Denver Kushiashi. I don't know what brought his family to my suburban U.S. neighborhood, but he was a great friend. He was the nicest, most considerate, 10 year old I'd ever met. I wasn't used to kids like this, but I appreciated his kindness. Of course, he's just one kid, but I have the impression, based on many observances, that Japan does many things very well.
