Thanks I was on the fence I did 8n dragged it down lightly with a comb through my level 9a highlights and it blended perfectly! My goal was to soften the line of demarcation and cover gray. So glad I didn't use a 6 or 7n like most tutorials recommended!

I just bought the 7, 8, and 10A demi colors and was planning on doing this exactly (7 at the roots, then 8 and 10) and your video gave me the confidence! I mean I was going to do it anyways but I feel like I made the right decision! Lol 😂

I have level 3 hair and I will soon be bleaching it for the first time and using wella color charm demi permanent 7a, 8a, and 10 a to do the same thing. This was very helpful. Thank you.

I enjoy your videos and im using this technique tonight. I have pretty cool tones right now so I'm thinking of mixing 1/2 8A and 8N for my roots. 10na with maybe a little 8n for my lengths.

How did it end up going?! I’m so curious!! I’ve been wanting to do this. I’m a dark blonde with platinum highlights and have been tempted to try a shadow root or room smudge lately... kind of going for a “lived in” root!!

I'm looking to do the same although I don't have all over blonde just Teasy highlights all over which makes it hard on myself to redo my blonde w bleach and actually had permanent color about level 5 on roots before I done my highlights so I'm stumped on this process and what to do you done great tho if I could get more highlights and maybe do some lowlights I'd be good but looks great to me but yeah next time do a little darker maybe for grow out what level are you and what do you use to go blonde I love your hair and cut is nice 💜💜💜💜💜

Do you think the 10na would have helped with your root warmth?

Wish you had done this before I placed my Sally’s order last week 😂 my hair is always so awful when I bleach it. My roots are orange and my ends always lighten so fast they are basically white. I used the T27 toner and it didn’t do anything for the most part. I’m interested in getting the 8A for my whole head because I really want a darker blonde color. I’m sick of my gold blonde color. You think 8A would get it to a darker blonde?

I think I am gonna use the 7a next time for a darker blonde root. Someone commented that they like that color from the Demi permanent line. Since it’s Demi permanent I would try to go darker, you can always try again in a couple months!

Lol, the reverse bayalage on blonde when started growing out worked wonders !! I used as level 6N and did the pull forward method and 9V on ends I loved it !! Now I'm doing a level 7NA to cover a few spots of orange at roots after a 6n root shawdow and then went in with highlights ( backwards) lol which is why I'm now doing the SMUDGE with 7na. Fingers crossed this works out looking great!!
