hey, i just build a rebounder, too! good stuff. a few tips for anyone building one: * when cross cutting plywood, tape where you're going to cut to prevent the board from splintering * consider using locking support bracket hinges instead of cabinet/door hinges and velcro * cut a piece of wood 7 1/2" wide as a jig when attaching the hinge and legs. this will help ensure the legs are square to the board. * round the edges of your handle. I got a splinter just looking at this one ;) while you're at it, round all the edges. * don't skip finishing the board. this is used outside, and plywood won't hold up on the edges if it gets wet. a quick stain or prime and paint; along with a couple quick coats of spray on polyacrylic will increase the life of your rebounder

These videos are fantastic! Thank you for making them! Soccer has become so expensive to play club and as a coach I feel bad asking parents for more money for equipment. These videos will literally save our club thousands of dollars! One dummy is $100 and we need 5! Now it'll cost around $20 for all 5! Rebounders are $100-$200 and we need 4! Huge savings! Thank you so much!

Just made one yesterday. Thank you for the video. Our hinges didn't fit w the 7.5" measurement-as they wouldn't close flush. In hindsight, it would be just as easy to align both hinges equal distance from the edges after you mock set this up w the 18 Inch pieces laying in 'closed position.' Ours ended up being about 6 inches from edge. This was the simplest of all the rebounders we found online, and fewest parts, so thank you again.

Quick question! I really like how you used hinges for the folding up (I have a small car), but does this ever fold up or fall when being used?

Sorry to be a pain, but can you confirm the name/brand of the hinge that you use for this? Cheers and great video.

I have a great desire to create a rebounder. I'm sorry, but could you please explain the drawings and materials? Not for commercial use, I made a soccer rebounder, so I want to use it when training.
