It would really stand out on a dark wall. I painted my walls a very dark gray( almost black )and my abstracts pop. Great job!

Love the art work. You can always do another one the same size on that wall. It will be interesting bc they won’t be identical in texture or paint colors if you use slightly different neutrals. The two together would be outstanding. They will be sisters but not twins while also filling more space on the wall.

Recently I have been doing abstract art. Starting with acrylic pour, some collage and finally doing some acrylic paint with pallet knife. I ran into a few KZitem vids of texture abstract on large canvas using plaster and am going to begin a large project in a few days. Tonight I came across your video and was very impressed! You have given me the courage to soldier on with my project and now I am looking forward to the process. I don't do any art for sale. I'm retired and need to stay busy :) . Anyway, thank you for your inspiration, I love your work and hope you will do more. Many Blessings......

Amber, as you cover the section with spackle ,try using a foam trowel to form peaks. This trowel is also used to apply tile grout. It has alot of uses in applications of spacking textures. Put this trowel on the spackle and lift it off the canvas. The peaks are dependent upon the amount of spackle on the board. The more product, the bigger the peaks. You can even use a regular trowel and spread it about a quarter inch thick.Then put the trowel flat on the spackle and glide over it ( Skip trowel technique).This will give it a leather look texture. Practice using rectangle metal trowels. You will have more control and less fatigue in your wrists over time vs the plastic ones 😉. Your very creative and talented. Keep your videos coming.

You have every right to feel inspired by a fancy artist in Europe. You can sell whatever you want. All you have to do is say in your description which artist inspires you.

Awesome does it crack after painting with acrylic?
@itsamberskye
2 жыл бұрын
i wouldn’t say it cracked after painting, but there were some slight cracks/air bubbles from the thicker spackle areas drying. you can also go over it once it’s dried and fill any cracks

Amber, I absolutely love your demo and piece. For where you are hanging it….it could be bigger or how would it look landscape? Just a thought. Currently, I am experimenting with spackle right now. Love texture and minimalism. I found your volume a bit low in the video. You have soft voice. I have subscribed. 😀

It looks cool. Although, I don't understand why you are obsessed with 'white'. You added a shade of white, and it was "too opaque". Don't be afraid to put some colors to it. If such an artwork means that you're upper class; then leave it that way. lmao

Who are you to tell someone what to do? Color sucks not everyone is into color. Some people like clean neutrals and bone white. Shut your mouth and learn how to respect other people's choices
