When it's time to change your spark plugs, it's easier than you think on the Impreza / Crosstrek! All you need is a little bit of patience and the right tools, and you'll be good to go in no time.
I didn't mention this in the video, but it is recommended you check each spark plug for the proper gap. These come pre-gapped at .044", but there are cases where the gap may be altered during shipping. The best way to check the gap on IRIDIUM plugs is by using a wire spark gap tool (I used this one: www.amazon.com/CTA-Tools-3238.... Check each plug to ensure they are gapped at .044" before installing. I checked mine after I installed just to be sure upon learning the importance of spark plug gap. Mine were perfectly in spec right out the box. There are many tutorials on here on how to gap Iridium plugs. The wire gap gauge is recommended for Iridium plugs because it prevents damage to the fine tip electrode.
