I just happen to come across this video looking for an idea and have to say this is by far MY FAVORITE DIY video on KZitem yet. We did some remodeling 2 years ago and pulled up the flooring. Found old newspapers from decades ago underneath still in really good condition. Saves as much as we could,which was quite a bit,and been trying to figure out what to do with it. This is an amazing idea for it. Just trying to figure out what main image to do on the glass first. Any other ideas what to do with the old sheets of newspapers are very much accepted.

I love your videos. Great tutorial. I tried to make my own, but I was a little disappointed that I was not able to get the image to transfer. I suspect it has to do with the image not being dark enough. I was wondering if you could create a video on how to print your own images and make them darker. I have a HP LaserJet Pro M15w Wireless Laser Printer and cannot figure out how to make the images super dark like yours and cannot find a video anywhere with a tutorial. This will help out a lot.

Transfer translation of photos and color photocopies is beautiful and simple. But acrylic gel and aerosol with varnish are incredibly expensive.
@NitsaCreativeStudio

If you buy the varnish at the hardware store it is usually less expensive. And like mentioned in the video you can use other medium for transfer, so you can replace the acrylic gel with acrylic glue, such as Elmer's school glue. It works quite well 👍

I was always told that in order for this to come out the right way and work that you need to use a freshly printed image from only a laser printer and that an ink jet one just won’t work. This was years ago, so maybe that’s why? newer technology now with better printers out on the market?? Idk, but that’s just what I was told.

It's true, I also found that the medium doesn't adhere to some type of glass, maybe tempered glass, I'm not sure. When this happens you can add glass medium to the gel medium, follow the instructions and this should help the medium stick to the glass. Good luck 👍

@@NitsaCreativeStudio oki will do that. So I found a trick to transferring ink to clay. U r welcome to use it.first I only used it on crayola air dry clay. I first made my piece which I made a flat ornament … I let it totally dry … remembering to keep in mind that the clay will shrink and also to let clay dry slowly to prevent cracking… once completely dry have ur transfer ready and very slightly dampen surface… make sure surface is not too wet or it will smear… also text etc should b reversed…. The transfer should b made with inkjet printer using inside shiny side of label paper. I hope that helps…. Let me know if u have any questions… good luck on ur book…. I look forward to it.
