I need sturdy walls in my utility trailer which I could remove in short order if needed. The purpose of the walls were to minimize wind buffeting, mud/rain, and to hold sand or dirt when buying it in bulk.
This was a fairly inexpensive project and opted for plywood over OSB as plywood will hold up better in the weather. I may opt to paint a water-repelling paint on the side panels in the future as they are not pressure treated.
The shopping list:
2 4ft x 8ft 23/32 plywood (your trailer dimensions and wall height will determine how much plywood is needed)
(Depending on your trailer length) - mine is 5.5ft wide x 10ft long
8 galvanized 5/16” carriage bolts (long enough to drill through plywood, trailer frame, and secure a bolt)
8 galvanized 5/16 nuts
6 galvanized 5/16 lock washers (front and side panels)
2 galvanized 5/16 flat cut washers
