awesome vid. I think i seen some type of home made heater in your shop ? can you do a vid. on how it works ? thanks

That is a waste oil heater that I haven't finished yet. It just needs installed somewhere and the exhaust run through the wall, and a forced air supply. If I ever get a place to put it, I'll do a video of it. Thanks.

thanks for the updated video!!! few more questions if i may..... where did you get the fine 175-300 glass bead? what psi are you using from the air supply? and what brand is the pedal i havent had any luck finding a 12v decent looking pedal other then for powerwheels
@Dynodon64

@jonboy688, The beads came from blast-it-all.com , I use between 40-50 psi and the foot peddle came from ebay. Just search for foot switch, there less than $10.

@@Dynodon64 thanks for all your help.... blast it all is local to me!!! i have most of my stuff ordered, just have to figure out the electric side of the whole cabinet, and if i am going to go ahead and go closed loop or not...i did the more expensive Tsurumi HS2.4S as i have read that is what the companies are using that sell the vapor cabinets.. hopefully will have 90% of my stuff next week so i can start the build

Great video. Any chance of showing the inside of the power supply box? Trying to get how the foot switch is conected to operate solenoid for air.
@Dynodon64

Allan Lozsan, There is already a video showing the inside of the box. The foot switch activates a DPDT relay. One side of the relay turns on the pump 110 volts,and the other side the air relay 12 volts.

Sir , which pump works better Orange sump pump used in this video or other blue one which is not submersible?
@Dynodon64
5 жыл бұрын
Udit Sharma, the blue one had more pressure, but it has a metal impeller that may wear out quicker. The red one has more flow but less pressure. The blue one I felt would rust up, where the red one is all plastic. They both worked, but I think the red one is better because it is inside the unit.

Great video thanks, have you tried many different nozzle sizes ? I have a similar size cabinet I am building at the moment and there doesn’t seem to be much info out there on this subject, any advice please
@Dynodon64
5 жыл бұрын
I only use the smallest size nozzle I could find. It's 8mm. That's all my air compressor can handle. Any bigger with the nozzle and the compressor won't keep up. You have to size the nozzle to your air compressor.

Dynodon64 Thanks for the reply, my compressor can supply 14cfm and I have 6 and 8mm nozzles to try so you have confirmed I am on the right track..

Which sodium bicarbonate media is the best for vapor blasting. How to rinse glass bead after blast engine. Is machine work mandatory after vapor blasting.
@Dynodon64
5 жыл бұрын
KZitem For Education, I don't use sodium bicarbonate. I only use glass beads. The beads are so fine, they wash off with clean water rinse. Not sure what you mean by machine work after blasting.

@@bittainment5995 No machine work is needed after blasting. This is a non destructive process. It does not etch the material like dry blasting. It is too fine to damage the material. You can blast plastic and rubber parts too without harming them.

@Dynodon64

@@bittainment5995 there is already a video showing what's inside the control box. Everything in it was bought off of Ebay. 12 volt power supply, timer, and relay. I don't have a schematic for the circuit. It's pretty simple. 120 volts goes to on off light switch on the outside of the box. The switch turns on the power supply. 12 volts from the power supply goes to foot switch and when it is pressed it turns on the relay. The relay has two outputs, one goes to the air solenoid valve, and the other goes to the pump. The solenoids use 12 volts, and the motor get 120 volts.So one of the switch's carries 12 volts, and the other get 120 volts.The timer gets 12 volts straight form the power supply, and the timer send power to an on off switch, which turns on the solenoid for the window wash. That's it.

Yes it will work with many types of media. But you won't get the shine like this super fine glass beads.
