Great job Vincent-not only on the construction of your pizza oven but also with your very thorough explanation of all the steps that you took to create this beauty. it’s now been three years. It be nice to have a quick update on how it’s holding up and how steak and other meats cook in this. I believe if you have a large cast iron pot with lid that you can make a slamming pot roast in this! A great job! 👏🏼 I’m considering this project and if I do-I’ll be following in your footsteps every step of the way! Going to pick up some wine now! A Big Hello from Long Island, New York! This is the best pizza oven that I've seen built. It's practical for a homeowner (not tons of money), and the design looks very good. I wonder how the outside shell is going to stand up to the weather. I live just south of Montreal, we get tons of cold weather and snow. One little leak of water and it would start breaking down the insulation, inside, etc. I imagine that putting it under some sort of weather cover would be best. How hot does the outside of the over get? Could you get away with a rubberized paint/coating? Thanks again, love the video. And the safety aspects, great!!
@vincentbradley5865
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for that, yes that's what I intended to make it simple and affordable for the home owner! And yes we do have a cold and wet climate here in the winter so I cover it up with a tarp in the winter, you can use a insulated builder's tarp the kind they use so concrete doesn't freeze . The dome just gets look warm maybe you could paint with a rubberized paint but I like the cement look have fun...
