Dizzy took a lot of people with him. One of the most unselfish educators you will ever find. I had the good fortune to hear and talk to the Diz in a club in Newark NJ, Sparky J's. I only post the proceeding to acknowledge Newark NJ's contribution to this world class art we call JAZZ.

I saw him do this "Live" at the Playboy Jazz Festival in L.A. The orchestra was named the New World Orchestra ft. Paquito D'Rivera and Arturo Sandoval and the RAWKED!!! daMonstah,CEO of daBlogPound,Inc.

No es una trompeta baja. Es una trompeta de rotores. Maquina alemana. En Bb tal como la de pistones. La trompeta baja es otro instrumento . Saludos

+TheVikingtropical Gracias, conozco algunos ritmos de 6×8 y tienen muchas variaciones y tienen distintos nombres. Por ejemplo en Puerto Rico se puede tocar la Bomba Yubá en 6 como también se puede tocar el joropo en 6×8 y los ritmos batá. Por ej el bolero es en 4x4, como el blues, el swing entre otros. Lo que me interesa es el nombre de esa variación de toque en 6x8. Gracias nuevamente.

This is an excellent version of Tin Tin Deo. However, as much as I love Dizzy his playing was past its prime here. At this stage in his career he was a much better bandleader than trumpeter. He really got the most out of his band even though his own playing was kind of off.
