Love Adam Rupp & his insane talent. He is the best out there in my opinion. He simulates the sounds of a drum perfectly. Many drummers have commented on how good he is. He sounds so realistic. This was a few years ago & hard to believe but he is even better now. Adam is the glue that holds Home Free together. He is their secret weapon which other a cappella groups can't match.

@@mrelixertv 1 thing that makes Adam so good is that he learned to play drums(and other instruments) so that it sounds believable. He doesn't put in sounds that don't work in a "real band" if they were performing. Unless he intentionally throws out some crazy sound that you aren't expecting, but it always works for the song.

Adam is a prodigy. To say he is the glue that holds Home Free together is dismissive to the immense talent each one of the members,(no names needed), selflessĺy gift to us. At times to tears, 'cause they sound like Heaven.

I watched a Japanese beatboxer reacting to Adam Rupp. It was hilarious ... He went from dismissive (replicating the sounds and beats), to frustrated (as it went on he had to try repeatedly to get it right .... finally got to sounds he COULDN'T get) ... to flat out being in AWE of Adam and his Drum Solo. Watched him another time, he'd been practicing and WAS better, but still nowhere near Adam's level. That guy's going to go far, if he keeps trying to emulate Adam ;)

Nice reaction and I'm happy you've found this gem of a group that I've followed since they competed on Sing Off. It's a really deep rabbit hole so enjoy the trip. If you want to see more of Adam's talent, check out their version of "Do You Hear What I Hear". It was arranged by Adam so there's a lot of emphasis on the vocal percussion. Also showcases Tim's bass - the whole group actually. You also might want to check out one of their live versions of "Nine to Five" with the beatboxing breakdown in the middle. (The recordings are made by audience members so the quality isn't always the greatest, but still worth a watch & listen.)
