DJ Sbu mastered the 5 & 8 system when he was only 17 years old. He has sold everything you can ever think of. It's no wonder he's the entrepreneur he is. Watch this video closely & learn (In his own words taken from his instagram):
Here's another practical example of the 5&8 system.
Notice how I insist they touch the can. Because soon as they touch there's something called "impulse". A cold MoFaya can in your hands on a hot summer day is not that easy to give back.
Even if I wasn't selling MoFaya. I want them to touch my product with their hands to complete step no.2 (Presentation), so I can quickly get to no.3 (short story). People like the China man are many when you sell in the streets. It's not about race. Those are the ones that make you stronger. Refuse to succumb to their level of pettiness. It will drown your energy. Just tell him it's his "loss." "Fear Of Loss." It's when you display a bit of arrogance about how dope your product is.
Make them feel like they are a lucky to buy it.
Look at how I maximise on time. While the lady on the ATM queue is busy with her purse, I dont make her feel uncomfortable by looking at her take money out. I use that time to scream "MoFaya R10!". My speed is consistent. I'm always chasing time. I move quick between the clients. My enthusiasm stays the same. I never let anything spoil my day. I'm actually the one cracking jokes, complementing my clients over and over, even if they are not buying.
Look at my confidence levels. You see them in my walk. I never let anything stop me. I'm on the go.
Take a look at how many people rejected me, till the last lady on the ATM queue bought 2 cans.
I nearly got caught lacking at the end when I dropped money. NEVER DO THAT. You become a target for thugs. NEVER let your guard down when selling in the streets. That's what makes us streetwise. Being awake at all times. Ungalahli👊🏿
