Back in the day, I recall always going to grab quick, calorie-dense food after a gig with some of my other peers. Was I hungry? Was it to counteract some of the effects of drinking alcohol? Was it just habitual? It could have been all of those things. However, the effects it had on my recovery the next day, my weight, my mood, etc., was not beneficial to my overall well-being. I knew it and I felt it.
Starting From Scratch, an OG in the game, has learned to adjust how to fuel himself for his gigs, and has, over the years, changed his eating habits and patterns to provide his body with more nutrient dense foods.
