My friend who moved left the djembe in the his room.
This djembe is the skin was torn, but someday I wanted to replace the skin with leather, so
I was picking it up.
The djembe, whose skin was torn, has become a thin wood storage area.
and I decided to repair it.
I expected no good dry sound like a real djembe,
I wanted to give some added value and decided to combine the tops of the side tables with a pallet.
I didn't have an electric planer, so it was very difficult.
The surface of the leather was coated with japanese lacquer so as not to stretch.
Japanese Lacquer is an old traditional technique that dries with humidity.
It is a natural paint, so I often use it.
Be careful as it will rash if it adheres to the skin.
This time, I wanted to edit without using a lot of time lapse.
I tried to keep viewers uncomfortable with long videos .It took about two weeks including sound recording.
I made various discoveries including editing methods.
rhythm
I consider, love and live the rhythm that flows through my body.
