The camera looks great, cant wait to my arrive this week. And as you say the overheating is not a big problem, something strange with your audio at the end of the video. Good test, greetings from Norway

I hope you enjoy your new camera! The audio at the end is a bit of a puzzle. It is like it in the original footage. I have tried to replicate it but I can’t. However on her KZitem channel, Tamara Gabriel has done a review and mentions an echoing of audio when Front and Back microphones are selected. I will keep experimenting!

Thanks for these creative and real-world tests - very nicely done. Indeed the Action 2 audio (which is derived from the Pocket 2 audio system) is very good. The wind noise reduction system works well, as you mentioned, but when in stereo mode it will smoothly reduce the audio to mono in the presence of wind - that's something to be aware of if you notice it. Now at the end, when you sat talking on the bench, I noticed something odd which I haven't noticed on my own videos (with this camera or the Pocket 2). As you spoke, the ambient sound coming from the beach or the waterfall kind of pulsed with your voice, almost as if some kind of noise reduction system was operating. Do you recall what the audio settings were at that point? Or maybe it was something happening when you edited the video (perhaps noise reduction being applied at that point?) If you have time I'd be interested to know more. Also full marks for using the wireless system - did you have that connected direct into the USB port? If so, it was a bit too loud - in the audio settings where you'd normally select which mics to use etc, it's actually possible to change the audio level - having tapped on the figure for the current setting, you can raise or lower that by swiping horizontally near the bottom of the screen. For some reason, DJI have made that fader invisible until you swipe in just the right place. Lastly - was this somewhere in Dorset or further west? (An answer to that personal question is entirely optional!).

Thank you for your detailed comments. This was literally the first time I had used the Rode Wireless Go so I have a lot to learn 😊 Thank you for your advice! I had checked the levels on the receiver, however I have used it since and although the levels appear ok on the Rode, the camera flashes a red warning, so it’s something to be aware of. The beach is called Hallane and is just outside St Austell in Cornwall.

@@DavidBeechfieldBrownArt Ah, Cornwall. I used to be taken to Newlyn by my parents every year from London, in the fifties... Cornwall was pretty quiet in those days!
