@ATuro12345 ive just upgraded to the 2000's and had 400's for 2 years.. there amazing to learn on cause they have all the tools for mixing (eq,instant play, bpm) 400's are awesome and the perfect tool for me to master the basics and intermediate mixing techniques.

well i see what you are trying to say, but its wrong touch sensitive is something that reacts to the electrical pulses in your fingers so when you touch the platter the music stops you dont have to apply any amount of pressure even lighty resting your finger on top will stop the music, Where as pressure sensitive is not like that , on the cdj 400 and the 800 and 1000 there is a small amount of play under the platter 0.5mm of movment making it pressure active not touch.

Depends of your use, i use two of them with the traktor s4 mk2, ofcourse i use them as a controller, i managed to map some of the buttons i dont use on the cdj 400 as hot cues. But if its for straight CD purposes. I would say go for it. The functionality with these are superious honestly. And they were designed to be mostly used with cds so go get one for sure

@ew0kfarmer htf do you think i learnt how to beat mix. i got 400's after i could beatmix which allowed me to do 'DYNAMIC MIXING' and use more EFFECTS. have you ever worked in a night club? cause bpm is the last thing you need to worry about. you should be worrying about the quality of the mix not on the tempos. bpm is basics..
