Why is it so hard to understand adults? Have you ever wondered why? Or maybe you thought this is all your fault? This, not only teenagers focused, TEDx Talk will answer the questions that will certainly make in between generations communication easier. Dr Marek Kaczmarzyk is a biologist, neurodidactist and memetist. He promotes evolutionary didactics - an area dealing with the recognition and practical use of the biological and cultural influence of evolution on learning processes. He specializes in the functioning of adolescent brains and its neuroplasticity - the changes that occur in the brain. He has published many books on this subject, including "School of neurons: about teenagers, compromises and upbringing." He already has experience with TED talks, as he has participated in them a few times already. Dr Kaczmarzyk initiated and is the main organizer of the Polish Symposium of Scientific Neurodidactics, which takes place every year at the Biology Department at the Silesian University in Katowice.
