I have been going through the same exact thing for the past year and half... I have had to finally cut off contact with my narcissistic mother. I am just coming to terms with the fact that I really need to seek out someone that is specifically trained in trauma and it's been hard to find during COVID. I wish you well, I do know what you are going through.

I don't believe in coincidences so I landed on your channel for a reason. I needed so much to here a story of perseverance, determination, and survival. It doesn't matter how we got here, we all come for a reason or purpose. You are radiating so much light. The change is remarkable. Please realize you are helping people in so many ways that you may not have thought about or intended. I come from a family of mental health and abuse issues and had a son die from addiction. Your honesty and willingness to share your personal journey has helped me. The difference between this and your last video are truly amazing. You are becoming who you were always meant to be. Your light and sharing your life story can change lives. Just keep working on yourself and please share when you can.

Thank you! 🙏🏻 It’s taken me years to finally talk about these things and start my own healing. It continues to be a struggle but my mindset has changed from trying to survive to wanting to thrive! Comments like this give me encouragement to continue to talk and tell my story. ❤️

Enjoyed how you tell your story. My asthma is triggered by the same smells you mentioned and it's tough to get people to understand. Researching my ancestry also helped me appreciate some of the traits in my family I previously considered flaws and put me at peace with who we are. I also discovered the power of a low carb diet on my physical and health and am thankful for the benefits even at this later stage. I wish you the best and hope you keep posting.

Thank you! 🙏🏻 Smells trigger migraines for me - it’s Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). Also MTHFR gene mutation contributes to it as well. I had to completely change my diet to a clean diet - no gluten, no folic acid (synthetic version of Folate) or enriched foods, no processed foods and trying to eliminate as much sugar as possible. Genetics is a fascinating thing! I’ve learned so much over the last couple of years!

I am curious, about the gene mutation discovery. Did you learn about it from the Ancestry test? Or from other medical tests. I enjoyed your posts. Not sure where you mentioned the issues with smell. I suspect I also have the MCS although no doctor I talked to understands it. I am almost instantly affected by fragrance of every source, also chemicals and smoke. I would like to learn more.

@@gingergerstner5844 I have not take any health genetic test. I have always felt faint or nausea when exposed to perfumes, oil paints etc. If exposed for about an hour or more and it triggers an asthma attack.

I wish you the best! I recently connected with a half-sister that I have known I've had for over 40 years. It was wonderful to meet her and her daughter. We have a lot in common. She was also able to meet our Dad which I am so grateful for even though he has dementia. This was all because of Ancestry DNA.

Depending on how much time you might want to put into your channel moving forward, you might find some inspiration in the channel "Northern Hearts". I think the thematic type of content (obviously, your own content) might work well for you, too.
