All the things you say you wish you had done sooner are very doable as you continue to live in your pretty little cottage. Add that porch #1, it will be good for your soul!

Thanks for all these tips, I agree with them all. Especially the porch. Build it right away and make it as big as possible.6 feet is the very minimum. 10 feet wide and at least 12 feet long makes my front porch another room. I decorate it by season and it’s the first thing people comment on when coming into my home. And I can’t count the happy hours I’ve spent visiting with friends and family on that porch!

The family compound concept is great if all the legal boundaries are in place and people get along. Very cool.

Thanks for sharing! I absolutely agree that a concrete foundation is crucial for long term stability and proper support of the home. Also, I like the idea of a long-lived metal roof, particularly in rural areas. Maybe you can do these improvements in the future. Sometimes we all do the things we think are best to in order to afford the cost, then we find out going a bit higher in initial price would have been cheaper in the long run. Even in the Bible (Matthew 7: 24 to 27) Jesus talks about the wise man who builds his house on rock, versus the foolish man who built his house on sand…and when the rains and floods came, the house on sand fell. [Of course, this was a metaphor alluding to himself as the rock upon which we build our lives, anchored in substantial faith and knowledge of the truth of salvation in the rock that is Christ]. Still, it is also true when it comes to building or securing our homes. May you be Blessed in all your endeavors. ❤

New here. Love your tiny house. Its designed perfectly. I almost went tiny...650 sq ft but I had 4 big spoiled dogs. I bought during the pandemic so my choices were low. I got a single wide but really still want the tiny house.

I love your little house. I have a weird question. I see a lot of people with your hair do. What is it called, and how do you brush it , and wash it. I'm not trying to be mean I'm just curious. I also don't want to offend anyone here .. ❤️

No worries I'm happy to answer questions. So I recently went through some health struggles and lost a lot of my hair. What I have are faux dreadlock extensions and they are braided into what's left of my real hair. They wash and dry just like regular hair although I wash my hair only about every 3 days. I like them because I don't ever have to use any heat or styling products on my natural hair and it gives my hair a chance to grow back healthy. 🩷

@@lovelaceyxo oh thank you very much. After I ask you that question I remembered when I watched other videos of yours and remembered that you had short hair, and it must be a wig or something. I hope you can all your hair back soon.

Thank you. You know it so rarely happens that way so I trust his gut. It was a bit disappointing in the moment I'll admit but now I can see that the timing just wasn't right. And he's the person who will be purchasing or building it so I really want him to feel good about his decision. ☺️
