I decided to build an organ foot keyboard, i.e. a pedal for home use.
I share the details of my idea.
14 Introduction
40 Converter of shorting contacts to MIDI signals
25 Electrical micro switches
43 The dimensions of the pedal keys
10 Mechanical details
48 Finishing (painting) of keys and levers
14 Connection of keys with electrical microswitches
38 We're putting the mechanical parts together
19 About the pedal housing
48 The electronic part of the pedal
21 Operation test
14 Let's practice the game!
33 Farewell
Note: the MIDI to USB converters I use are sold by many stores and at very different prices. A large part of them (especially cheap ones, but this is not the rule) do NOT work well with Hauptwerk - and there is nothing we can do about it. The only reliable device is the "Miditech MIDIFACE 2x2 USB MIDI Interface" converter, which can be easily found on the Internet. It costs a bit, but it won't disappoint.
