Dirty players usually have technical fouls. The Phoenix Mercury have the most technical fouls. Diana Turasi is tough, and an instagater, but maybe not Dirty . Alyssa Thomas is a Dirty Player, because she actually tried to hurt Angel Reese, and then walked off without seeing if Angel broke her neck. AT should have been suspended a game.

They should call this play a foul! The NBA wouldn't allow a player to do this any more. They outlawed it after the Pistons did this all through the 80s and 90s. The league has to state in a memo or some other form that this type of play will not be tolerated.

Reese definitely plays dirty sometimes. Like when she pulled Cardoso's hair in the SEC championship game. But yes, she plays hard and she will foul hard. I am not one that has a problem with it. I say suck it up. But apparently others do. That is why they have flagrant foul calls. It doesn't require any other action. Just call the foul or flagrant foul and that is that.

It was a terrible trade by Seattle at the time. And it looks worse now. Jade has provided a flurry of offense off the bench for both Washington and Australia this summer. She looks like one of the best backup point guards in the league. To really explain where I think she is. I think she is better than Sheldon at Dallas. Muhl imo won’t be on a roster in 12 months. So, if the trade was made for her sake. It especially doesn’t make sense.

You are one of my most respected commentators! YOU know your basketball. I agree with you about Jade over Muhl. I've been saying all along if it were not for Sue Bird, Muhl would have been cut long ago. Before Gabby Williams returned, Muhl was the ONLY UConn player on the Storm roster. Go figure. Jacey Sheldon is one of my all time favorite PG's, her defense and quickness is why she's a starter for Dallas. She's got a humble attitude about her that wins her over Clark ANYDAY for me.

Wow B2S walking back some of his words uh:) I agree with you on Angel Reece but I do believe that her teammate Carter do deliberately flow opponents in the head though. She has to take that out of her game or WNBA should discipline her accordingly. On the Fever they will overtake the Mercury in the seedings. The Mercury has a way tougher schedule and age is really catching up with some their stars like DT and BG. Call me cruel but I see Lloyd’s shooting slipping since last season. I don’t see her in the Olympics in 2028. Do you see them catching and passing the Aces in the playoffs seedings? However, I have no idea where Paige Bueckers will end up in the next WNBA draft.

@@RustyLou18I don't think that will happen to PB, a UCONN grad. The Storm were so stupid to trade Melbourne. She is by far a better PG than Muhl will ever be. It's the "BIRD" protection that keeps Muhl on the roster at this point. Muhl is "chained to the bench" for a reason and now that Gabby Williams is back, it won't get any better for Muhl. It grips my a** that Muhl's on ANY roster. There are FAR better players who deserve a spot. Celeste Taylor OR Kate Martin would have been MUCH better choices for the Storm. I don't see ANY WNBA team "tanking" just to get Paige B. PB will NOT be the #1 pick anyway.

In basketball you more likely to get injured just by stepping on somone's ankle or by stepping the wrong way. This argument that says, "If they don't have unusual punishment for hard fouls to this one player that we don't like and want to make an example of, someone is going to get hurt." Is completely unfounded. If that case for "assault" came to court and I was the judge I would be throw it out as frivolous and fine whoever filed it for wasting public time and money. A hard foul in a basket ball game you want to call "assult?" That is just dumb, it's part of the game. I you don't consent to that kind of contact, than it's up to you to quit.
