Exercising can be hard sometimes but It always makes me feel better. Last year I had almost 300 lbs in body weight. One day I just started moving more, then slow running then I started doing weighted exercises and I was eating clean by following meal plan I got from Next Level Diet. Today I have 200 lbs and I am happy like I never been in my life before.

My first time here. I’m going to give this ab workout a try. I like the modifications 👍🏽. I’ve always been on the lookout for ways to burn the fat on my midsection. It’s been a struggle for me since childhood, teens, young adulthood, etc…my entire life. I’m an endomorph-mesomorph combination. I totally believe staying consistent with working the abs is key. Diet does matter as we all know. Mine has been reconfigured. Getting the energy to get moving isn’t what is once was for me 30+ years ago. Recently I’ve been trying to educate myself on insulin resistance. I wouldn’t be surprised if the stubborn fat on the abdominal area is an end result. Fact is, many on the planet don’t even know they are insulin resistant.

After losing over 150lbs and doing almost no core work the whole time; i was pleasantly surprised to be able to do everything properly. For anyone wanting this to make serious progress; do more sets. Just 5 minutes isnt going to do much (like running a marathon but only taking one step a day) but its enough to start for sure. Once you can manage the 5 minutes easily; add another round and continue. Progressive overload is the key to all significant gains.

I really wanted something that I can do everyday. Is this enough to have strong core ? I mean is this 5 mins everyday are enough or I need to add some heavy core training like 1 or 2 hours ? Thanks for amazing guidance! Peace out

It's probably best to have a good training routine planned that works your whole body and doing this on top of that

Just started getting into calisthenics pretty recently and noticed my core is lacking behind by a tremendous amount. My arms start shaking around 10 seconds before the timer ends on the side holds. My lower back does not touch the floor on hollow body holds no matter if I tuck my knees in or not. Do I continue doing them or do I just skip hollow body holds and try to build lower back strength first? After 6 days: I definitely improved my shoulder strength and my arms stopped shaking almost completely. All the exercises became easier and right now I’m working on progressing to a full hollow body hold.

Hey, I've been having a lot of back issues including disc prolapse since I'm in my IT job, I really want to train my core a lot more and seeing the last two exercises here that i actually had to do during therapy, you seem to provide me with exactly what I need.. this is what I love youtube for - no joke. Thanks so much especially for including easier variations ;)!

Thank you for the exercises in this video! They all have a carryover to certain static skills. I personally like the Seated Pike Compression, 100% good and useful for learning the L-sit. Lately, I've been doing this exercise one leg at a time and it felt a little easier than doing it on both feet.
